Chocolate Protein Pudding Recipe From Ketogenic Desserts

To achieve your ideal or desired weight, you must include a strong and reliable diet plan, as well as proper physical activity. For the most of people, diet plan means not eating at all, or eating food that is unsalty, unspiced, and untasteful. But, believe it or not – it’s all prejudice! Modern diet plans include varieties of tastes, spices and ingredients you can combine to satisfy all of your senses. See for yourself, because here’s the recipe for one of them: a chocolate protein pudding. Don’t freak out though – it’s safe to eat chocolate sweets while on diet, as long as it’s sugar free. In fact, it’s recommendable to eat a bar of dark chocolate as your dessert or after the dinner.

Chocolate protein pudding is a quick, tasty and delicious recipe to fit your weight loss plan. And most of all, it’s easy to prepare! You can use it as a part of the breakfast, or as a dessert. The choice is yours.

Chocolate Protein Pudding Ingredients

To prepare chocolate protein pudding, you need the following.. ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds;
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk;
  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (or cocoa powder);
  • 1/4 cup of fresh raspberries;
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional).

First, you need to mix the almond milk together with a chocolate protein powder. Make sure you stir well with a fork. Then, add Chia seeds in the mix and mix again. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes. Stir again, and repeat the procedure (5 minutes of rest, and stir). Next, you need to put the mix in the refrigerator for a 30 minutes rest. After 30 minutes, take the mix, serve it in the cups, and add the raspberries on the top! It’s that easy to get a healthy, tasty, and delicious meal.

Chocolate Protein Pudding and Nutritional Values

For those who likes to count calories and nutrition values, this chocolate protein pudding contains the following nutritional value (based on the servings for 2):

  • 235 calories, of which
  • 30g of proteins;
  • 19g of carbs;
  • 12g of fat;
  • 8g of fiber.

Since in some diets people do count the number of carbs (as a way to reduce the overall amount of carbs), it should be noted that this recipe contains 11g of carbs, thanks to the high number of fibers.

The high protein level makes this pudding a desirable and solid dish for those who are on a high – protein diet. Another great thing about it is that you don’t have to stick to the recipe blindly – you can improvise! Instead of raspberries, use some other berries (like strawberries, blueberries, or even cranberries), or you can just use cherries! We also mentioned that you can use cocoa powder instead of chocolate protein powder, and add honey if you need some sweetener. You can try adding some peanuts, or nuts, but be aware of nutrition values and overall calorie count. Once again, if you are one of those who crave for a good, sweet and mighty chocolate taste, this dish is completely and absolutely for you! Enjoy your chocolate protein pudding.
