Raspberry Protein Shake Recipe For Ketogenic Breakfast
The ketogenic as an ingredient has been noticed by many in the past few years and it has even been the reason for many diets to be made around it. The ketogenic diet for example is a high in fat, adequate in protein and low in carbohydrate diet that is used mostly in medicine to treat difficult and hard to control (refractory) epilepsy in children but has become pretty famous for weight-losing as well. We are not here to speak about the diet itself though, but more about a recipe that is included in every ketogenic diet just because it’s really tasty and low in fat at the same time!
Ketogenic Breakfast Alternatives
We are here to talk about a raspberry recipe, the keto raspberry protein shake. It is a good example of a perfect recipe for any weight-loss related diet and you shouldn’t think twice before making it to brighten your day with something low in fat and carbohydrates! Raspberry is becoming a pretty famous ingredient for many weight-loss related diets and that is mostly explained by the fact that it’s really tasty. Especially for desserts, cooks prefer it more and more lately since lots of people deny eating a dessert because they think it might just end up becoming fat or because they just say it’s unnecessary and doesn’t have to be part of their daily routine. But why shouldn’t it be? Especially if something as the raspberry can be used to make really low in fat but yet really tasty desserts!
One of those tasty things that you can prepare for consuming while dieting is the keto raspberry protein shake which is actually filled with fibers to the rim! It’s a really nice ketogenic breakfast as well that you can just take with you on the go for those people that are just too busy to sit down at the kitchen table in the morning, take their time to cook and have a complete breakfast. It’s a raspberry protein smoothie, perfect for those trying out the ketogenic diet since it’s made with strawberry protein powder and raspberries. Raspberries are also one of the best sources for carbohydrates and shouldn’t be overlooked when cooking up new things, since they taste so good as well.
The ingredients you will be needing are as follows:
– Raspberries (about 77g)
– Almond milk (1 cup)
– Natural Peanut Butter (about 24g)
– Cinnamon (1/4 of a teaspoon)
– Ginger (1/4 of a teaspoon)
– Strawberry protein powder (1 scoop)
– Ground coffee – (1 tablespoon is fine, but this is entirely optional)
In order to make your smoothie, you start by adding the almond milk and the raspberries in your blender. Then you add the whey protein powder, the natural peanut butter, the cinnamon and the ginger. You can at this point add the optional coffee if you feel like it. What you have to do is just blend everything until they are smooth and just enjoy yourself drinking that tasty smoothie you just made!
